Six months of hard work, determination, and never giving up. 💙💪

After a fall at home left Tom with a broken leg, his road to recovery at Cooperstown Center wasn’t always easy. But through every challenge, Tom kept pushing forward—and after six months, he was finally able to return home. 🏡✨

Tom calls his therapy team “the best of the best,” adding, “Without them, I’d be in a wheelchair still. I have them and the nurses to thank for my success here.”

What an incredible testament to Tom’s determination and the team who stood beside him every step of the way. Congratulations, Tom—we’re so happy to see you back home! 💙👏

When Robert arrived at Onondaga Center, walking and everyday tasks were a challenge. After 39 days of hard work with the PT and OT teams, he’s heading home with his wife stronger, steadier, and back on his feet! 💪✨

Robert had plenty of love for the team that helped him get there: “I love them, they were great!! They did everything I needed and then some!!” He gave a special shoutout to Mike for being instrumental in his rehabilitation. 💙

And perhaps the best review of all? If Robert had to do it all over again, he says he’d choose Onondaga Center again. 🥹

Now THAT’S what we call making moves! 💃🕺💙

We’re so proud to celebrate alongside Centers Health Care as they officially set the Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Seated Dance Lesson – Multiple Venues, with an incredible 696 participants joining in across their facilities! 🎉👏

For our Sigma teams, it was especially exciting to see residents moving, laughing, engaging, and having a whole lot of fun together. Because movement can be powerful—and sometimes, it can even be record-breaking! 🏆✨

A huge congratulations to Centers Health Care and everyone who danced, cheered, organized, and helped make history. We’re proud to be part of it! 💙

💙 Every step forward is a step closer to home.

After injuring both her arm and leg, Joann came to Oneida Center for short-term rehabilitation needing assistance with nearly every aspect of her daily care.

Through hard work, determination, and the support of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Joann made incredible progress. By the time she was ready to return home, she was dressing herself independently and walking with confidence—a remarkable transformation in a short time.

Here's what Joann had to say about her experience:

💙 Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs begin with a single step.

When Trudy arrived at Oneida Center, she was struggling with a fear of falling and lacked the confidence to begin her rehabilitation journey. At first, even getting out of bed felt overwhelming.

But with patience, encouragement, and the support of the therapy team, everything began to change. Day by day, Trudy gained strength, confidence, and a renewed belief in what she could accomplish. Before long, Occupational Therapy became her favorite part of the day—and today, she's heading home to her family.

When asked about her therapy experience, Trudy shared:

"She is my sunshine and a sweetheart. She came in with a big smile and was ready to get me moving. Jenna and the other therapists are the reason I'm able to go home and be with my family."

We're so proud of everything you've accomplished, Trudy. Congratulations on your incredible progress, and best wishes as you begin this exciting next chapter at home! 👏💙

After a fall that resulted in a broken leg, Sherry arrived at Cooperstown Center unable to bear weight and ready to begin the hard work of rehabilitation.

With the support of our expert Cooperstown Center Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Sherry put in the effort every single day. Three months later, she's heading home stronger, more confident, and ready for her next chapter.

Here's what Sherry had to say about her experience:
