We are definitely not known as a trad shop, and just as importantly we definitely ARE an east coast shop. BUT this man’s contribution to this thing we call tattooing is immeasurable…And ETERNAL. It’s everywhere you see tattoo designs that came from an artist with a wrist blessed to match their imagination. To me, he was Neo in the MATRIX. The chosen one. And THEN, to meet him decades into my career ( and obviously, his), to run into this incredibly humble, friendly and funny human being, was the icing on the cake. I don’t normally get worked up about people I don’t know that well but that’s just the thing with tattooing and definitely with JACK .,,it IS like you knew them that well. I’ll stop now..R.I.P. to my favorite illustrator in tattooing. We are all his children.
