Meditation teaches us that we can be wherever we want to be at any given moment. Kundalini teaches us that absolutely everything is made up of energy, and that every intention is a vibration. Quantum mechanics teaches us that energy can be changed, manipulated, impacted and painted through our own will. . .🌊 .
So by these truths, why can’t we travel to the ocean, the forest, the lakes and the rivers and the mountains, and soak our cells in the healing that they provide, and collectively send out an energetic call for these sacred spaces to heal themselves, our souls and the entire world — all from the platform of our own bedroom? My favorite divine feminine-nourishing herbal infusion of the moment:: Rose petals, mugwort, and lemon balm. Rose is the plant essence of love, femininity and spirituality. Mugwort increases the blood flow to the uterus and helps us sync back in tune with our hormones and moon cycles, while lemon balm is a little ray of happiness to remind us of the deep and intuitive light we always have inside.

This coming Sunday, 2/2/20, is a portal of a day. A portal to realign ourselves, to integrate the physical realm with the spirit world. A few weeks ago, I sat with in a beautiful cacao pop-up she had put together at 's psychic fair. My life had gone through a few thrilling turnarounds over the several months leading up to that moment: I'd decided to move away from New York to Asheville, NC; had put all my things in storage, left my apartment, started sublet hopping as I worked on saving up enough for the move, and began mentally and physically preparing to leave. And then, as so is the flow, by getting myself ready to leave I accidentally crafted the life here that I was looking to find elsewhere: and with a new kind of bravery, I chose to stay in NY while dedicating myself to honoring and creating the changes that I desired.

On the day of the psychic fair, as I was feeling the dust settle from all my many mini-moves, I remember finding a moment of peace, tranquility and faith as I sat with the love of Mama Cacao and a good friend. I found the calm amongst the crazy, and I felt grateful for being energetically held, and for the newfound support and clarity I'd received. And I knew, now that I was inching my mind into settling back into this city, that it was time for me to share the medicine of cacao with others once more, and with it, all the strength and support she has brought me.

I'm thrilled that on the evening of Sunday, February 2 -- 2/2/20 -- I'll be facilitating my first cacao ceremony in a good while, in the form of a Womxn's Rejuvenation Circle, in the stunning Bushwick healing sanctuary I've just moved into. Using the powerful energy of the 2/2 portal, we will be shifting into a new divine feminine paradigm. We will reclaim our bodies, beings and sexualities as our own. We will collectively transform into the Wild Woman within.

The beautiful thing about Reiki is that it is everywhere, in absolutely everything, at any and every given moment. It is in the water of the rain that kisses your skin, in the waves of the ocean, the trickle of a stream washing over your toes. It is in the breeze that rolls over you. It is in the smile a friend gives you, the laugh that tumbles from your lips in return. It is in the sunshine, in the clouds, in the flicker of a candle flame. It is the feeling you get at sunset when the world is slowing down and there is just you and the incredible horizon, quiet, happy, at peace. . .

Tonight I'm offering Reiki sessions at for Mystic Mondays from 6 - 8pm. Mystic Mondays is a lovely multi-dimensional gathering of energy healing, psychic arts, music, poetry, visual art & divination. Cacao reminds us to come back to the elements, to become one with our surroundings, to honor and thank every incredible force of energy that enables us to exist. Drinking cacao in nature is a wonderful way to deeply appreciate and connect with the elements. Here, on Jacob Riis Beach’s beautiful sands, we were connected to each one: the ocean water, the sands of earth, the winds that rolled off the sea, the sunshine streaming from the blue sky, and the inner fire burning through us. The power of each energy is so much more prevalent when you can see, hear, feel and engage it.

That’s why I’m thrilled that my cacao ceremony this Sunday will take place in the oasis garden of : a hidden slice of nature in the middle of Bushwick. A place that reflects all the elements and allows us to deeply flow with Spirit. I’ll be collaborating with the amazing as she graces us with her gong sound healing magic. There will be a Reiki meditation and a ritual to set deep intentions to stoke our inner fire. This will be the last ceremony that I’ll cocreate with Shunny, and the 2nd to last ceremony I’m leading before I move away from NY. Let’s make this one count.

Someone asked me recently how I started leading meditations, and if I do them intuitively, or if I prepare what I'm going to say beforehand. When I thought about it, I realized a beautiful thing:: while I'd been leading meditations for a while before I ever discovered cacao for the first time, it was only after cacao came into my life that I found the strength, the courage, and the faith which allowed me to trust my connection to Spirit and begin intuitively channeling the meditations while leading them, so that instead of a prewritten text, they come as a direct flow straight from Source, in the exact way they're meant to materialize, brimming with the relevant energy of the day.

Cacao helped me reconnect with my higher self, and with the beautiful interwoven threads of the universe. I'm coming to understand that one of my main purposes on this earth is to share this beautiful medicine, in combination with other pure light-filled healing tools, to help others connect back to their intuition and to source. In a week from today, 9/29, I'll be leading my last cacao, Reiki meditation, and gong bath cocreation at Ambrosia Elixirs with the incredible . It'll also be my second to last cacao ceremony before I move away from New York for the mountains of Asheville, NC. We'll be riding the wave of the powerful energy associated with the number 9:: the embodiment of change, transformation, rebirth. Of coming into your new, empowered self. Of returning and recreating. Using plant medicine, energetic healing and sound journeying as the chisel, we will delve into the juiciest parts of our subconscious and craft a beautiful fresh version of ourselves. I can't wait to bask, to heal, to create a shining bath of self-love together in Ambrosia's gorgeous oasis garden. And I ask you: Is it time? Are you ready to come home to yourself?

It’s Virgo season and it’s a few days away from my birthday month, and so naturally I’m going ALL the way deep into both the hustle & the healing! And when they go hand in hand, the hustle flows so smoothly, so divinely that it can barely be called that. Because when I’m spreading light, cacao, awareness and Reiki I’m following my true path, and that in itself is a beautiful reward. ✨
