Jumping can be scary if you haven't done it in a long time or if you are coming back from an injury. I like to use peusdo jumps and peusdo landings to get someone familiar with the forces needed to jump and the joint angles needed to land.

With peusdo jumps, think about putting more force into the ground to get yourself higher.

With peudo landings, think about dropping low to absorb the landing force. Once you know how to start and how to end, take that leap of faith!

Little back story, every year we do a 5k run to celebrate .katydilo’s bday, each year we have shirts made exclusively for the Good Reps Team.

This year we are doing it a little different.

We are raising money for Katy’s charity of choice which is the . They are an organization that offers free rehab/training to people who have been through big traumatic injuries. They focus on bridging the gap between surviving an injury for people and helping folks get back to performance and sports. This advocacy means a lot to Katy and we would love your support!

Running should be your main physical activity if you are a runner, but strength training can help you rehab running-related injuries and improve your performance so you can run longer and faster.

Here is a simple strength-training framework to follow:

✔️ Jump

✔️ Double-leg movement

✔️ Single-leg movement

✔️ Site-specific work

If strength training is still unfamiliar, I recommend getting help from a rehab professional.
