Hear Your Song is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth living with chronic illnesses to make their voices heard through songwriting and music production! We’re hoping to raise $10K through our May 5K to support collaborative programming for kids and families. 🎶
Here’s how to participate:

1) SIGN UP: Register for the virtual race HERE. There is no required registration free, but you can make a donation to Hear Your Song if you choose during the registration process. When you register, you will automatically be emailed a link to your personal fundraiser page.

2) SPREAD THE WORD & FUNDRAISE: From now until May 31st, donations are getting MATCHED up to $2000! We encourage you to post about the May 5K For Hear Your Song on social media, using the hashtag , and link to your fundraiser page. You can also email or text your fundraiser page to friends and family.

3) COMPLETE THE RACE: If you’re participating virtually, complete a 5K run, walk, or roll and share your journey through photos or video on social media using the hashtag !

Ever dreamed of meeting the songwriter behind your favorite song? 👀 This dream came true for Hear Your Song 11-year-old songwriter Aoife when songwriter Lauren Christy made a surprise appearance on Zoom! Lauren Christy has co-written some incredible songs for Avril Lavigne like “Complicated” (Aoife’s favorite song to sing at karaoke) and “Sk8er Boi” 🤩
