Guys, guys, guys…
I don’t take deposits.
I stopped taking them sometime around 2017. Why?
Because no matter how many times you say a deposit is nonrefundable—
if you cancel, nonrefundable;
if you no-call/no-show, nonrefundable;
sign right here acknowledging that it’s nonrefundable—people still ask for refunds.
Then, when you remind them that it was nonrefundable, suddenly you’re a thief.
Which I can absolutely guarantee you, I am not.
So I avoid the whole mess altogether.
I’m a pretty fair guy. We’re all adults. Show up for your appointments and obligations. If you can’t make it, just give people a heads-up.
No deposit needed.
But if you ghost me, there won’t be another appointment. Fair is fair. 🫶
