A beautiful day spent doing what I love, helping your horse feel their best so they can be the best version of themselves for you! 🥰
I’m currently putting together my June schedule and still have a few appointments available. If you’d like to treat your horse to a massage and help them stay comfortable, relaxed, and performing well through the summer heat, I’d love to help!
Contact me via DM, email, text, or through my website which is all linked in my bio. 🐴💕

Working with one-eyed horses takes a little extra consideration. Most adjust incredibly well, but their increased blind spot can influence both behavior and muscle patterns. Horses missing an eye are often more cautious and protective on their blind side, so during massage I make it a priority to move slowly, keep a hand on them, and talk to them throughout the session. That consistent touch and reassurance helps ease the uncertainty of not being able to see what’s happening on one side of their body. ❤️☺️
That natural guarding can also affect them physically. Tilting the head, bracing through the blind side, or constantly turning the neck to compensate can create shifts in balance and posture over time. This often leads to tension, overcompensation, and muscle imbalances especially through the poll, neck, shoulders, and back.💪
I have a few one-eyed clients, and it’s always fascinating to see how each horse adapts both behaviorally and physically in their own unique way. 🐴

Even though we wish they could, horses can’t talk, so they find other ways to communicate how they’re feeling🐴 If your horse is chomping at the bit, moving their tongue excessively while riding, struggling to relax into the bit, becoming tense during bridling or contact with their mouth, or trying to evade the bit, they may be telling you they’re holding tension in their jaw, poll, or TMJ.😓These are common areas for horses to carry stress for many different reasons.
Here, you can see this horse’s direct response and immediate release as I use one of my methods to help alleviate tension in the TMJ by encouraging  the jaw and tongue to mobilize.🥱😌 Book an appointment today to learn more!

As an equine massage therapist, my goal is to find areas of tension and help each horse release it, no matter their age or level of work.🐎
This handsome young gelding is still getting his canines in, which can sometimes cause gum inflammation. That discomfort can show up as bit avoidance, changes in head carriage, neck sensitivity, tension in the TMJ, or even shifts in behavior. A horse’s body works like a pulley system, so when something is off in one area, or their gait is altered, it often creates tension and sensitivity elsewhere.🤔
I love discovering what makes each horse unique and helping them feel and move their best. My work focuses on identifying muscular and fascial issues and supporting your horse in moving freely and comfortably through their full range of motion.🥰🐴
