Are your actions aligning with your goals?!๐Ÿค”

I live my life a little differently than a lot of people, and I have for many years. But I've also achieved more results than a lot of people.๐Ÿ’ฅ

My success isn't because I'm 'better' than anyone, but simply because my actions align with my goals!๐ŸŽฏ

I make my nutrition, fitness, and overall wellness a priority. We all have the same 24 hours in a day; and although our lives are each different, we are ALL busy! It isn't necessarily 'easier' for any one of us; but it is simply more important to some of us.

Just this week, I ran to the gym in short gaps between client appointments. I tossed a sheet pan meal in the oven while I ran outside to mow the grass. I didn't do these things because they were fun or easy, but because I know what my goals are and the actions that are needed for me to achieve them.๐Ÿ˜Ž

A solid thought to start the week off!๐Ÿ˜Ž

Too often I hear people say they need to "feel motivated" to take action. Unfortunately, this often leads to a continual waiting phase.

In reality, motivation, or the desire to do something, is usually fueled by a dopamine release, which is often generated by us already taking a previous action.

The first days (or weeks) of starting a new habit are never easy. You are changing up your normal routine and you WILL feel the resistance. However, with each additional action or step, you will also see/feel some progress and/or reward. THIS is what keeps you going!๐Ÿ’ช THIS is the motivation!๐Ÿ˜Ž But in order to get there.... you have to get started!

Ditch the giant bowl full of added sugars and dyes, and replace it with something equally as delicious and even more nutritious!๐Ÿ˜‹

Oatmeal pancake๐ŸŒพ
Topped with fresh fruits๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ“
Drizzled with natural peanut butter and local honey๐Ÿฏ

Add a side of Greek yogurt for extra protein!๐Ÿ’ช

And for all my Small Sprouts๐Ÿ‘ง (aka toddlers) cut it into strips/pieces and let them dip it in the yogurt! You can even mix peanut butter or PB2 and a little honey into plain, Greek yogurt to give it flavor without a bunch of added sugar!๐Ÿซถ

But what are you DOING about it?!๐Ÿค”

I'm a big fan of Cleveland Kitchen and the fermented choices they have! This garlic sauerkraut is so good, and I use their kimchi often too.

I add a little bit as a topping to egg breakfast bowls, taco bowls, etc. Or even just eat a small serving by itself!๐Ÿ˜‹

โ–ช๏ธ I used a whole grain called bulgur, but the original Triscuits are a good, whole-grain cracker option with no added sugar.
