You don’t need to memorize 600 muscles. You need to understand their NAMES.
If you know the naming rules, you can guess the location and action even if you never studied that muscle.
6 RULES that will save you on the MBLEx:
📍 Location: Brachialis = in the arm (brachium)
🔺 Shape: Deltoid = triangle (delta)
📏 Size: Maximus = biggest
↗️ Direction: Re**us = straight fibers
✌️ Heads: Biceps = 2 heads, Triceps = 3
💪 Action: Flexor = flexes, Extensor = extends
This is Trap #10 from my book - Terminology Trap.
When the exam says “Which muscle does...” - if you know the name, you know 50% of the answer.
I teach all 14 traps + 3000+ practice questions inside one place:
👉 mblexpracticeexams.com - the book is ALREADY included inside the site. Not two separate purchases.
