❤️ August Giving Update ❤️
At the beginning of August, we made a commitment to donate $15 from every appointment to Brown Elementary School to help meet needs right here in Brownsburg.
Our original plan was to help cover delinquent school lunch accounts. After getting started, I learned that the district will not apply donated funds toward those balances until the end of the school year. Since our goal was to help meet real-time needs, I reached out to the school counselor to ask where we could make the biggest difference right now.
And would you believe it was the same counselor who was there when my own children attended Brown?! 🤎
She shared that some of the current needs are incredibly basic—clothes that fit, new tennis shoes, briefs, and other everyday necessities that some children simply do not have. She explained that Walmart gift cards kept in her office are one of the quickest ways for her to respond when a child has an urgent need.
So instead of waiting until the end of August, we made our first mid-month delivery of six Walmart gift cards! 🎁
At the end of the month, we’ll make another trip to Brown with the rest of what we’ve raised.
I am so grateful for every person who has supported Be Blessed Aesthetics this month. Some of you have even chosen to personally match the $15 your appointment generated, which has been such an unexpected blessing. 🥹❤️
Every appointment this month is doing a little more than usual. Together, we’re helping make sure children in our own community have some of the things they need most.
