Founder Friday: Honoring Dr. Carlos Rosas. Today we recognize the founder of Rosas Medical Clinic, Carlos Rosas, M.D.

Dr. Rosas established Rosas Medical Clinic in 1984, dedicating more than four decades to caring for families throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Dr. Rosas comes from a tradition of healing and has continued that legacy by serving multiple generations of patients—some whose families were even cared for by his father.

Known for his compassionate approach to primary care, Dr. Rosas believes that medicine is not just about treating illness, but about building lifelong relationships with patients and guiding them through every stage of their health journey.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Rosas maintains admitting privileges at several local hospitals including Valley Baptist Medical Center, Valley Regional Medical Center, and DHR Health, allowing him to support patients across different levels of care.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Rosas has remained committed to the health and well-being of the Rio Grande Valley community — past, present, and future.
