There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make Checkmat BTX what it is. From the professors leading from the mats, to the coaches developing our students, to the people handling the details you may never see. EVERY person on this team plays a part in the vision. The goal has always been bigger than simply running jiu-jitsu classes. We’re building a place where people come to compete, grow, gain confidence, find community, and become better versions of themselves on and off the mats. And that takes a TEAM. Over the next few weeks, we’re introducing you to the professors and staff who help make Checkmat BTX run, sharing a little about who they are, what they bring to the academy, and the personalities behind the roles.
