This week got off to a great start when our Build Manager and Chapter President delivered beds to 2 little girls. They were beyond excited and so was their adorable pup!

This is what community goodwill looks like. 🚁⚾

Today, the Air Evac Lifeteam crew in Laredo had the honor of delivering the first pitch ball at Laredo Pony League — straight into the hands of some very excited little ball players.

Moments like this matter.

Our crews may be known for responding on people’s hardest days, but being part of the community during the good moments means just as much. Building trust, showing up, inspiring kids, and reminding families that we’re more than helicopters in the sky — we’re neighbors, teammates, and part of the communities we serve.

🚁❤️ Happy National Nurses Week to the incredible flight nurse team at Air Evac Lifeteam 48 - Kerrville, TX! ❤️🚁

Kevin Meyers, Angela Guerra, Maria Rosa, Veronica Handowski, and Justine Dean-Ulm represent the very best of critical care, compassion, and dedication to the communities we serve across the Hill Country.

These nurses step into high-pressure situations every single day with skill, calm, and heart — bringing lifesaving care directly to patients when minutes matter most. The work they do is not easy, but they continue to show up with professionalism, courage, and compassion for every patient and family they encounter.

A special shoutout as well to Program Director Charles Robins, whose path from ICU nurse to flight nurse and now leader of Base 48 gives him a unique understanding of both patient care and the crews who provide it. Leadership rooted in experience makes a difference, and our base is stronger because of it.

We are incredibly grateful for this team and proud to work alongside them. Thank you all for the sacrifices you make, the lives you touch, and the care you provide every day.
