Deeper doesn’t mean harder. 🙌

Think you have to be incredibly strong to give deeper pressure?

You don’t.

Massage therapists can use positioning, leverage, body weight, and proper technique to create controlled pressure without relying on muscle strength alone.

That’s one of the things our students learn during hands-on training at Texas Massage Academy.

We want students to understand not only how to perform a technique, but how to use their own bodies efficiently while doing it.

Because your body matters, too.

Your feet have been carrying you around all day and somehow never get invited to the self-care conversation. 😂

Work. Errands. Shopping. Exercise. Standing on hard floors. Chasing kids. And those shoes that looked much more comfortable in the store.

They’ve earned a little attention.

During your massage, we can spend focused time on tired feet to help ease everyday muscle tension, encourage relaxation, and give them a much-needed break.

Because sometimes feeling better from head to toe means actually remembering the toes. 😉

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing awareness about breast cancer and the importance of appropriate screening. Massage therapists should always consider a client’s individual health history and modify or postpone treatment when medically appropriate.

The most common short-term treatment for eczema is a corticosteroid cream or ointment. Topical corticosteroids can quickly relieve itching and reduce inflammation by decreasing the number of immune system cells involved in an allergic reaction.
