Today we treated our amazing staff to a late Memorial Day cookout lunch as a small thank you for all they do each day! ❤️🌭🍔

The menu included hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips, and fresh watermelon — a perfect cookout meal enjoyed by all!

Our residents also enjoyed their own Memorial Day cookout celebration yesterday filled with delicious food and good company. 🇺🇸☀️

We wrapped up an amazing week celebrating National Nursing Home Week with more special “Moments in Bloom” themed activities! 🌸☀️

Wednesday’s theme was Growing Connections — residents enjoyed flower bingo, created beautiful floral crowns, and tested their knowledge with flower trivia! 🌼

Thursday we celebrated Sharing Kindness in Bloom with a fun flower craft and a kindness social where residents and staff shared donuts and stories! It was a social filled with smiles and sweet moments. 💐

Friday’s theme was Spreading Warmth & Light — residents made colorful flower suncatchers and teamed up with therapy for Cooking Club to create sunshine parfaits that were enjoyed by all! 🌞🍓

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so meaningful, joyful, and full of blooming connections! 💖

We have been celebrating National Nursing Home Week with a different theme each day — take a look at the fun from our first few days! 🌸

Sunday’s theme was Love & Gratitude, where we hosted a special Mother’s Day social complete with fruit-topped cheesecakes and painted floral canvases. 💐🍰

Monday’s theme was Blooming Creativity, and residents enjoyed creating beautiful 3D wood flowers. 🌼

Tuesday’s theme was Planting Seeds of Growth, where we decorated flower pots, planted flower seeds, and enjoyed delicious root beer & orange floats together. 🌱🪴🥤
