I heard a podcast today. I’ve never thought of it like this before.

Jesus took on hell before actually saying “it is finished”. The beating, the lashing, the 6-8 inch nails driven through the arch’s of his feet and wrists, the crown of thorns, the mocking and spitting. This is all a part of the prophecy. Then there was the unquenchable thirst he felt since this particular death caused severe and deadly dehydration.

In hell we would be damned to have unquenchable thirst. Can you imagine? I cannot. I’m forever grateful Jesus came and took on this death for me. I’m remorseful and horrified by my sin, but hopeful and worshipful in the One who will never make me thirst again. So here is this humble man crying out “I thirst” Just to support the prophecies foretold in the Bible. What an honor and respect he has for the living word of God.

My other takeaway is how Jesus who is the “living water” experiences our absolute worst, unfathomable, horrifying hell, still cries out for us asking God to “forgive us for they know not what they do”. Wow! Jesus you’re so good my pea brain cannot wrap around the love you are! What can I do to honor you next?

“But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water, springing up in him for eternal life.” John 4:14

It has been a week!!!! Whew!

Some weeks I make mistakes, and that was this week. But I want to thank you all for trusting me anyway! It’s good to scratch my brain sometimes.

However a big one I’ve learned is I CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT GOD! Sometimes listening to advice from someone you trust is not always the advice that’s needed. Sometimes our minds think “oh this is a good idea”, but then it wasn’t. I try to remember to take myself down a notch, swallow that pride, place myself in God’s hands to give you all the best service, price and experience possible. But sometimes I fail.

Thank you for loving me and trusting me through it.

We had lice over the winter break.

Does your head itch yet?

This was the kit I rant to get at 8:45PM at Walmart. We ended up doing 2 separate treatments.

 If you need help on one of your children I can help you walk through it. Check them if they are scratching their nape(where your head and neck meet), and/or temple/ears area! The Nits are teeny tiny. The actual bugs are also teeny tiny too. Take a deep breath, you’re not some filthy gross person It just happens. Wash all your sheets in hot water, check your and mattress covers with a flash light.
It’s also not a difficult process, just takes time. If I can get through this beauty’s hair, you can do it too!
BTW no one else in our home had it! Thank goodness! Myles and I did do treatments to be safe since she slept in our bed. Another BTW, When I was looking for Nit’s in my hair I didn’t see any, but I sure did see some WHITE hairs!!!!🙄🥺🧐😬

Hey my sweet clients and friends! I just wanted to let you all know that I am increasing my prices. Are you surprised? Ha! With the way everything has gone up recently, I need to. For example the L’anza hair color cost has increased 30%!! Wild! There will be a $2-$7 increase on all haircuts. A $10-$25 increase on all color services.
Thank you for understanding and for supporting my family and I!
I’ve now been a stylist for 17 YEARS!!!! Wow! I’m incredibly grateful to be in this career. When I have hard mornings or days you all are angels to me that lift me up and encourage me! I pray I do the same for you. Plus, you know make your hair look good! God is so good!

I got to do some real fun hair today!

Alexa- curtain bangs,”Lopsy pops” basically a lopsided blonde, heavier on one side and a peek a boo on the other side.

Sarah-We’ve been doing some copper, strawberry blonde adjustments with a s**g. Today we got it right!

Mackenzie and Olivia- these two precious girls were pretty amazing getting their first haircut! 4 going on 14!!

Thank you Jesus for blessing me with a fun hair day, new faces, learning experiences and great talks!

By the way I’m coining the phrase !

Hey there!

Just a Summer Heads up! I am going to be working MWF 9:30-4:30, T/Th 4:30-7:30 IF NEEDED. If I have several evening appointments and can do a Saturday, will just place some appointments to Saturdays.

I’m giving the heads up so we can go ahead and start booking Summer. We don’t have a vacation planned YET, but I’ll accommodate my schedule for you per my vacation days.

Also my current availability starts in April! However I do have a cancellation list going that I’ll be happy to contact you!
