Our new Jubilee Birth Center website is live.

I’ve poured a lot of my heart into this over the last few weeks, and it feels really good to finally share it. In a lot of ways, this is my heart and my vision for Jubilee, all in one place.

This is just the beginning of what we’re building here, and I’m so excited about where it’s headed.

For many years, Toni has welcomed families through the doors of Jubilee and into her care. Her work here has become part of the birth stories of families throughout the Brazos Valley. As Toni retires and Jubilee moves forward under new ownership, we are grateful for the years she has given to this community and excited to share what Jubilee means to us as we look toward its future.

Historically, jubilee carried ideas of restoration, rest, return and inheritance. Those ideas have become a framework for how we think about this place and our responsibility to both what we have received and what we will contribute to the families who call this community home for generations to come.

We are rooted in birth. That will remain at the heart of Jubilee. But we believe the work of caring well for women reaches far beyond the birth room.

We believe communities are changed by caring well for women. Healthy women strengthen families, and strong families strengthen communities. There is an inheritance in that: what is nurtured in one season becomes part of what is carried into the next.

We hope Jubilee will have a meaningful place within that larger story. A place deeply rooted in birth, with space for education, connection and community through the many seasons of life.

There is much more to share in the coming weeks, including introductions to the midwives who will be caring for families here and the ways this vision will begin taking shape at Jubilee. For now, we simply want to mark this transition with gratitude for what has come before, and with a clear sense of responsibility for what we are carrying forward.

As I close this chapter of my life and retire after 40 years as a midwife, my heart is filled with gratitude. I do want to say that I could have never made it through those 40 years without Jesus by my side. He is and has been my strength and confidence. There were a many a night that He sustained me.

During my career, I have been honored to attend more than 1,245 births, each one unique and each one a reminder of the miracle of birth. Thank you for trusting me with your pregnancies, your births, your joys, your fears, and your growing families. Being invited into such a sacred season of your lives has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
Over the years, we celebrated the arrival of 410 beautiful babies born within the walls of the birth center. Every birth has its own story, and every family has left a lasting imprint on my heart. When I look at the footprints on the wall a whole story unfolds.
I am excited to see Jubilee Birth Center continue its mission under wonderful new leadership. Please join me in welcoming the new owners, Derek and Amy Kirbow. Amy, an experienced midwife, shares the same commitment to providing exceptional, family-centered maternity care. They will also be welcoming Midwife Lindsay Kroskob to the team, bringing even more experience and compassion to the families they serve.
I am grateful that Angel Fulton will continue to be a familiar and caring presence at the birth center. Many of you already know and love her, and I know she will continue to provide the warmth and support that has always been part of the Jubilee family.
Midwifery has never simply been a profession for me—it has been my calling, my joy, and one of God’s greatest gifts in my life.
Thank you for allowing me to witness so many miracles and for making this journey more meaningful than I could have ever imagined. I leave with immense gratitude, countless treasured memories, and complete confidence that Jubilee Birth Center’s future is bright.
May God continue to bless each of you and the families yet to come through the doors of Jubilee Birth Center.

Serving this community for over 30 years has brought many people into my life and it has been a joy, pleasure and blessing serving the people that crossed my path. This is my last birth at Jubilee Birth Center and it was very special and meaningful!
It was a complete honor to walk along side John and Lindsey Mitchell again for the birth of their fourth baby!
Eli Franklin Mitchell was born August 12th at 5:35 AM at Jubilee Birth Center!
Eli weighed 8 lb 1 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long!
Eli joins his family with Carson, Asher and June!

It was truly a blessing to walk along side Mary and Stephen Hurt again for another wonderful birth!
Miss Margaret (Maggie) Anne Hurt was born fast and furious on August 8th at 8:52 PM.
Margaret was born at Jubilee Birth Center too quick to get the tub ready!
Maggie weighed 8 lb 1 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long!
She has the beautiful red hair like momma and sister!

We are excited to share with you our newest addition as a staff midwife Lindsey Kroskob. Lindsey is now accepting new clients! Feel free to reach out through the website or call the office.

Lindsey Erin Kroskob, CPM, LM

Lindsey has always been drawn to the work of caring for people and honoring their stories. Before becoming a midwife, her background included journalism, emergency medical services, birth photography, doula work, and victim advocacy. Journalism taught her to listen, emergency services taught her to stay steady, photography taught her to preserve stories, advocacy taught her to protect autonomy, and midwifery became the place where all of those gifts finally converged.

As a Certified Professional Midwife, Lindsey believes birth is a normal physiologic process and that women thrive when they are known, respected, and supported in making informed decisions that align with their values and their family's unique needs. She considers it a privilege to bear witness to one of life's most meaningful moments and is honored to walk alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

Born and raised in Colorado, Lindsey spent her college years in Wyoming before making Montana home for more than thirteen years. She now lives in Texas with her three children. Outside of birth work, you'll usually find her thrifting, working on her dream home, or exploring new places with her kids.

I had the privilege to help one of the sweetest families again!
McKenzie and Gage Loflin had their sweet baby girl at Jubilee Birth Center on July 9th at 12:59 AM!
Iris Kay Loflin was born in water! McKenzie was an amazing at managing her labor! And moved along so quickly!
Iris weighed 8 lb 14 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long!
She joins the family with big brother Atlas!
