✅ Provide a plain, white salt block or loose salt at all times. Most horses require at least 10 grams of sodium to satisfy daily requirements in ambient conditions.
✅ Fresh, clean water should always be available. Electrolyte supplementation will increase water consumption, as will hot, humid weather conditions.
✅ Supplementary electrolytes may be necessary to replace those lost in sweat from hot temperatures, humidity or heavy work.
