A lot of women tell us the same thing. They're happy with their face. It's the neck and jawline that make them tilt the camera up.

There's a treatment for exactly that. It's called a Nefertiti lift, named after the Egyptian queen whose sculptures show that long, defined jaw.

Here's what it actually is. Running down the front of your neck is a broad, flat muscle called the platysma. Over time it pulls downward on the jawline and starts to show as vertical cords. In a Nefertiti lift, we place small amounts of tox along the jaw and into those bands so the muscle relaxes its downward pull. The muscles that lift are no longer fighting it, and the jaw edge reads sharper while the neck looks smoother.

It's injectable, not surgical. There's no filler involved and no real downtime. And like all Tox, it wears off, so it's something you maintain rather than something you commit to.

You've probably seen this called Barbie Botox. The actual name is trap tox, and it's more practical than the nickname makes it sound.

The trapezius is the muscle that runs from the base of your neck out to each shoulder. For a lot of people it's constantly tight from desk work, stress, or training, and a tight trap sits high, which shortens the look of the neck. Relaxing it lets the shoulder line drop.

What surprises people is that most of our clients come in for the tension rather than the appearance. If you carry stress in your shoulders and nothing has touched it, this is worth asking about.

Every summer a few clients tell us the same thing, usually a little embarrassed: they've stopped wearing certain colors, they keep a spare shirt in the car, they reapply deodorant at lunch and it still doesn't hold.

That's hyperhidrosis. It's a real, common condition, and it has nothing to do with hygiene.

We treat it with a series of small injections in the underarm. The appointment takes about fifteen minutes and most people go right back to their day afterward. Most people assume changing the shape of their nose means surgery. It does not always have to.

This client wanted to smooth the bump on her bridge and lift the tip without going under the knife. We used dermal filler placed in very specific points along the nose, a treatment known as nonsurgical rhinoplasty or liquid nose filler. The before and after speaks for itself, and the whole appointment took less time than a lunch break.

What we love about this treatment is how natural it looks. The goal is never to give someone a brand new nose. It is to refine and balance the profile they already have so everything sits a little more in harmony.

We will also always be honest about whether you are a good candidate. Filler is a wonderful option for some noses and not the right call for others, and we would rather tell you that up front than sell you something that will not serve you.
