Like any project the most important functional are hidden. If the electrical isn’t in place before the sheet rock you won’t have lights. If the plumbing wasn’t installed before the concrete is poured, you wouldn’t have indoor plumbing. The list goes on and on. are exactly the same. If the behind the scenes are incomplete or non existing was it even worth it?

We had the sincere pleasure of working with the founder of FarWell Sauna on this build. Honestly one of the greatest locations I have ever seen for a public sauna. Right on the beach in Chicago. Amazing views!

Another Sauna Days has come and gone. Thanks to everyone who came out and shared your love of good heat. There were some awesome saunas this year. Special thanks to the Lemiux’s for letting us bring their beautiful sauna with us to the event before we delivered it. Thanks to Dan at for knocking the sauna wrap out of the park. A big shoutout to Glenn at .com_ for creating such an amazing event; there really is nothing else like it.

Initial firing of a kuuma stove. We like to do 3-5 burns before we use the sauna. This lets the steal work in gradually increasing the longevity of the stove.

If you want to check out this one, you’d have to travel to it’s new home in . But there is another open to the public, down in the Hastings area.
