Is your child starting to ask about having their earlobes pierced?

We offer earlobe piercings for ages 6+ at both CowPök Piercing + Tattoo + CowPok Piercing + Tattoo - and here’s what you should know.

First off, a lot of people ask - what piercer should I pick?
Luckily - all of our piercers are experienced with working with little ones for their first piercings.

Upon arriving in studio, our stylists will introduce themselves to your child, talk about the rules of healing, and discuss earring selections. We think it’s super important to build a repor with the person being pierced, so allowing your child to pick their earrings is a major step to knowing that they are in charge of what happens throughout the service.

We briefly discuss the next steps - meeting their piercer, the cleaning process, and how important it is to use their voice, whether that’s to change the piercing marks, or to take a few extra minutes to mentally prepare.

Our piercers then introduce themselves to your child, discuss in depth how the appointment will go (no
surprises = less nerves) and really take their time to
explain every step or the interaction as to keep everyone in the loop.

Consent is HUGE. Making their own decisions when they are ready to be pierced is HUGE. Tears are okay. Being nervous is to be expected.

Our minor earlobe piercing services are longer because we really want to take the time to make your child comfortable and make this an experience they will remember.

A parent’s drivers license + a child’s physical birth certificate are required for this service that we offer every Monday - Saturday BY APPOINTMENT - booked directly through our website under MINOR EARLOBE PIERCING.
