During Uterine Cancer Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the importance of early evaluation and access to care.

Our General Physician Women’s Health team can assess symptoms and perform in-office testing, including endometrial biopsies and transvaginal ultrasounds. If additional testing or treatment is needed, patients are referred to the appropriate specialists for continued care.

He graduated from D'Youville University with a Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies. During his time in school, he was a regular on the Dean's List and played division II baseball.

This National Cancer Survivors Day, we are proud to celebrate all cancer survivors. From the day of diagnosis to the last treatment and beyond, we recognize your courage and resilience.

Our Cancer Care team partners with GLIN IPA to offer free survivorship resources to help survivors stay healthy and reduce the risk of recurrence. Resources include, but are not limited to:

✅ Nutrition program including lectures and cooking classes

✅ Wig and headwear program for hair loss during and after treatment

✅ Comprehensive survivorship visits to monitor side effects linked to cancer treatments

✅ An emotional support group to address mental wellbeing

We also offer educational workshops to focus on ways to achieve healthy survivorship. Workshops feature expert facilitators sharing information on:

✅ Exercise and physical therapy

✅ Tools to maintain mental health

✅ Reiki healing energy

✅ Importance of spirituality and humor

And more! Talk with your provider about which survivorship resources may be right for you.
