She'd been to three doctors. They all said the same thing: "Everything looks normal."

But nothing felt normal. Her daughter was exhausted, irritable, and covered in a rash that wouldn't go away β€” no matter what cream they tried.

It wasn't until she started paying attention to what her daughter was eating that things began to shift.

This is the story we hear over and over. And it's why this page exists.

If you've ever felt like something is off β€” but no one can tell you what β€” you're in the right place.

You've heard it. You've probably said it yourself.

"Eating healthy is too expensive."
"I don't have time to cook that way."

But here's a question nobody asks: how long does it take to make pizza? Or French toast? Or pancakes?

You preheat the oven. You mix the batter. You stand at the stove. Nobody calls that "quick."

Meanwhile, raw broccoli? Snap it off and eat it. Raw carrots? Rinse and go. Green beans straight from the bag? Done.

No cooking. No dishes. No waiting.

Eating healthy isn't slower. It's just different.

I wrote about this on the blog today β€” including why this myth matters especially for families dealing with food allergies.

πŸ”¬ Quick science lesson:

There are 3 types of food reactions:

1 IgE (True Allergy) β€” immediate, can be life-threatening. Detected by standard allergy tests.
2 IgG (Food Sensitivity) β€” delayed 2–72 hours. Causes chronic symptoms. NOT detected by standard tests.
3 Food Intolerance β€” no immune response. Usually enzyme-related (like lactose intolerance). Causes digestive symptoms.

Most kids with chronic symptoms have Type 2 or Type 3 β€” which is why standard allergy tests keep coming back "normal."

The elimination diet is the only reliable way to identify all three. 🌿

🫁 Did you know gluten can affect your lungs?

Most people associate gluten sensitivity with digestive issues. But research shows it can also trigger respiratory symptoms β€” including chronic cough, congestion, and even asthma-like reactions.

We wrote a detailed article on the gluten-lung connection that most doctors never mention.

Worth a read if your child has both gut AND respiratory symptoms πŸ‘‡
