This client just went from 0% to 60% VA disability, but, this win came from only ONE serious right knee injury....🦵

Instead of letting it get treated like simple “knee pain,” we made sure the claim reflected the full picture of the condition: including ACL tear residuals, post-surgical limitations, instability, reduced range of motion, and painful scars.

That matters, because the VA can rate different parts of a knee condition separately when the evidence is developed and structured the right way. A lot of veterans are leaving ratings on the table because their claim was filed too broadly, too simply, or without enough strategy behind it.

At the same time, the VA continues tightening its process as regulations, standards, and exam practices evolve. That means strong claim structure matters now more than ever.

The best time to file was yesterday. The second best time is now.

For this veteran, now, we move into Phase 2. Building out the strongest secondary claims and continuing the push for the most accurate rating possible. Stay tuned for another increase.

Let me guess..
You tried filing on your own.
You worked with a VSO.
You went through the process once… maybe twice.

That's a common cycle I see everyday while working with Veterans, and a lot of the time, it’s not that the case is weak. Veterans clearly deal with real issues; pain, sleep problems, mental health struggles - things that affect their day-to-day life.

But when we look at how their claim was actually filed…
it tells a completely different story.

Wrong conditions get listed.
Important records get buried or never emphasized.
Symptoms get mentioned, but not explained in a way the VA actually evaluates.

There’s no real structure behind it... just pieces of information scattered around, hoping it adds up. You're missing the whole story.

The VA has already acknowledged your conditions. That does not mean your ratings are accurate.

A lot changes over time:

- symptoms get worse
- daily limitations increase
- treatment records grow
- old exams fail to reflect current reality

I’m seeing too many veterans stuck with:

- outdated ratings
- 0% service-connected conditions
- low percentages that never should have stayed that low

An old rating is not always a correct rating. If your condition affects your life more than your current rating reflects, it may be time to take another look. While the VA has streamlined parts of the claims process and is moving some decisions faster than before, it is also becoming more difficult in many cases to secure higher ratings as rules, standards, and review practices continue to evolve. If you know you’re underrated, the time to act is 𝐍𝐎𝐖.

Huge win 🚨

This veteran had been fighting with the VA over his disability rating for many years. He was referred to Elevate Liberty by a co-worker, and after a few conversations and earning the trust of both him and his wife, he decided it was time to stop waiting and finally take action.

When we reviewed his file, it became clear that several of his ratings were outdated and no longer reflected the true severity of his conditions or how they impacted his daily life. The service connections were there, but the ratings had not kept pace with his current reality.

With updated evaluations and new DBQs completed by a trusted provider, his increase claim was submitted to the VA. Within just a few days, the decision came back... 100%.

After all those years of waiting and frustration, he could hardly believe it.

We’re incredibly happy for this veteran and his family. The benefits now reflect what he’s truly dealing with, and he’s extremely grateful.

A quick jump to 90% for this Veteran.

This veteran recently transitioned from active duty and initially followed our advice to file his first claims on his own. He did a great job and secured 70% on his own, which is no small accomplishment.

However, after reviewing his decision, it became clear that 6 conditions were service-connected but rated at 0%, while others were only rated at the minimum 10%, despite ongoing symptoms and documented treatment.

Like many recently separated veterans, he had a number of conditions that were acknowledged but not fully reflected in the rating percentages.

After connecting with Elevate Liberty, we reviewed his evidence and helped coordinate an evaluation with a provider who carefully listened to his history and documented his conditions in greater detail. With stronger documentation and updated DBQs, his claim was resubmitted.

The result was a quick increase to 90%.. just shy of the 100% threshold.

But the work doesn’t stop there. This veteran is continuing the process with another increase claim already in motion. Sometimes the key is persistence and making sure the full picture is properly documented.

Very happy to see this progress and proud of the work he put in himself from the start.
