On my walk today…signs of !

Pronounced ‘loo-nus-uh’ (mid-Summer) are nearly upon us. Traditionally, this Sabat was celebrated by the and on August 1st. From sunflowers and coneflowers, to lillies and vervain, our nature allies are speaking to us. They exude songs of the height of summer’s heat, the shift from rapid outward growth and expansion, towards the . The turn to focus and contemplate how we’ve grown. A reaping of the justness of our labors and actions, old patterns and habits shed or let go, and vulnerable parts held steadfast with love and made more whole. Whatever we’ve cultivated this year (thus far) the blossoms of summer are our teachers, our mirrors, the medicines for the body, and magick for the soul 🌿…

The sun god 🌞 wanes now through the end of the year bowing his head towards the moon goddess 🌙 Ceridwen and her Otherworldly wisdom. I am immeasurably grateful in these times of chaotic change, upheaval, and uncertainty to always be and share in the presence of the beauty and Mystery of our world. Today I woke with a heart at peace, so very grateful to be alive.

Coming to this place is truly a process. It takes work. It’s not over night and it may be an entire lifetime to this stage of enlightenment. But once you reach that place of non-reaction within you’ll know it’s peace. And you’ll know you, the work, and the path you walked was worth it 🙏🫶✨

Some breathtaking beauty today from the eastern Rocky Mountain foothills! A break from work to walk up the hills and commune and greet the spring beings until blown back down by the whispering winds (more like shouting here) and impending thunder storm…

From biscuit-roots, mugwort, Astragalus, wild violets, and mountain lilies, to squaw currants, wild plums, and lilacs I’m sharing the 🌿❤️

Following winter’s rest and a much needed gestation period, it is once again ***SPRING*** and I am ready to reveal a big transition I just made in early 2024.

I have moved to Boulder, Colorado!

In departing the heavy dampness of the Pacific Ocean coastline I am now exploring life at the much elevated, dry and edgy space between the Rocky Mountains and Great Plain prairies with wide-open skies and year-round sunshine.

A year ago an entirely different plan for my life was emerging as I realized my time on the Washington coast was coming to a close. This time last year I saw myself moving back to the Puget Sound region. I was planning for that. And then, in a series of very unanticipated, inexplicable yet transformative events the vision for my next direction shifted….For more on that part of the story refer to my full Facebook post!

I don’t yet know what all I will encounter, confront, contend, contain, and transform into more ***treasures*** in my 2024 journey. This move and life transition has brought its challenges, if I’m completely honest, but I am also exquisitely present to an ever-expanding amount of joy, gratitude, and strength in my life.

So....

If you have taken the time and given enough attention to read this far, now you know where I am to be found on the planet most days and how the view is from here.

And, in case you were wondering about my environmental consulting business, Convergent Ecosystems, if that’s how you know me - I have hired staff in Washington State and continue to operate and serve clients there whilst I work remote and travel back for projects as needed. Making this shift is freeing up space and energy for me to cultivate other things I’m here to be, create, and offer.

However your 2024 is starting out, I am wishing you your own special and unique containers of continued expansion, transformation, solidification, clarification, crystalization, aliveness, and abundance of what is truly joy and moving more into alignment for you.

This so perfectly demonstrates the phenomenon of *Resonance* - which for me relates directly to **RELATIONSHIPS**

Where there is a lack of matched resonance between two individuals, or not enough, the waves of communication literally don’t “land” for us or the other person. Or perhaps what’s been said sounds dissonant or what was spoken or shared went entirely unregistered/unheard. Even if spoken very clearly.

It’s all vibration and resonance! From that level of understanding, little needs to be taken personally, though of course part of us inevitably do because we’re human. But if one can get there in understanding this it becomes quite a graceful way to navigate relationships. To open up to people where its resonant frequency, let go with loving clarity and kindness where it’s not.

And because there’s always change, perhaps something resonates again between two people at a time point in time.
