🌻 Celebrating 2 Years of Christina at HPC! 🌻

One of the things we appreciate most about Christina is how deeply she cares about the experience of every person who walks through our doors. She pays attention to the details…remembering the little things, noticing when something isn’t quite right, keeping important information organized, and making sure the rest of us know when something needs our attention.

But behind that attention to detail is a genuine love of taking care of people. Christina is always looking for ways to celebrate our patients, spoil them a little, make them laugh, recognize an accomplishment, or simply make someone’s day brighter. 🌻

She holds herself to a high standard, cares deeply about doing things well, and has continued to grow tremendously over the last two years. We are so grateful for the heart, thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence she brings to HPC.

Sixteen years. Four signatures. One incredible community. ❤️

Every four years we make a trip to Burlington Town Hall to renew our business certificate.

It’s a simple errand…but it never feels like just another errand.

Each time we’re there, we see the certificates from the years before and are reminded of how far we’ve come. Today we added certificate number four to the stack.

This year felt even more special because Oliver came with us and snapped this picture. It hit us that he’s grown up alongside High Point Chiropractic. So much has changed over the past 16 years…but one thing hasn’t…

We still get to do what we love, together❤️

To everyone who’s trusted us with your health, referred your family and friends, cheered us on, and helped High Point become part of this community…

We wish it worked that way too. 😅

The truth is, most people don’t wake up one day with a problem. It usually builds slowly over time….long hours at a desk, old injuries, stress, poor posture, repetitive habits, and the general wear and tear of life.

Four years ago, Xavier came to the office wearing scrubs that were several sizes too big and spent the day following us around.

This summer, he’s officially joined the team before heading off to high school this fall.

One of the unique things about owning a family business is that your kids grow up right alongside it. Patients become friends, staff become extended family, and somehow the little kid who used to tag along ends up helping out around the office.

We’re incredibly proud of the young man Xavier is becoming and excited to have him with us this summer.

(Although we’re still negotiating compensation, his preferred payment method still appears to be more screen time and endless snacks.)

This weekend was such a good reminder of what makes Burlington special ❤️🎡

Even with the weather moving things indoors, the Francis Wyman Community Carnival was packed, incredibly well run, and full of energy.

So much happens behind the scenes to pull off an event like this….volunteers, organizers, sponsors, local businesses and families all showing up to make it happen.

We loved seeing so many familiar faces, watching the kids have fun, and being part of such a great community event.

To the Burlington businesses, sponsors and volunteers who continue to support events like this — thank you.
Community doesn’t build itself… and weekends like this are a pretty great reminder of what’s possible when people show up for each other ❤️

16 years ago, two chiropractors started building a life together rooted in family, health, hard work, and helping people live better for the long haul ❤️

Somewhere along the way came:
kids,
patients who became family,
endless schedules,
late nights,
early mornings,
and a beautiful practice that grew right alongside us.

Through every season, we’re still here…
still building,
still laughing,
and still doing life together.

One of the easiest things we encourage parents to do at home?

More time on their belly. Even for bigger kids. 👇

Why?

Because kids today spend a LOT more time flexed forward over tablets, phones, gaming systems and screens than ever before. Over time, that “collapsed forward” position can contribute to poor postural habits, reduced upper back strength and increased neck/back tension.

Laying on their belly naturally encourages:
✔ lifting the head
✔ activating the upper back muscles
✔ extension through the spine
✔ movement variety instead of constant flexion

And no…we’re not chasing “perfect posture.”

We ARE trying to help growing bodies build strength, resilience and better movement habits in a screen-filled world 🤍
