How to know if a counselor is a good fit? 🤓👍

Think about how they make you feeeel. Do you feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally understood? 🤜🤛

The most common reason I hear about why counselors were not a good fit - “I felt like they were judging me” 🫣

Another common reason however, is my counselor didn’t challenge me enough. I like to be direct with clients. I call it “carefrontation” 🙏
