Last Friday, the city of Burlington celebrated the opening of City Hall Park.This included a dedication ceremony honoring all Burlington residents who lost their battle with Covid 19. Burlington Health and Rehab was recognized as a community partner and our Center Executive Director and Center Nurse Executive were invited to be a part of the ceremony. It was an honor for us to be represented.

Our very own Ross Farnsworth, LNHA was invited to the City Hall Park opening/dedication by the Burlington Mayor, Miro Weinberger, to represent BH&R at the dedication ceremony.

BH&R was recognized as a community partner and was thanked for being there. The Park is dedicated to the Burlington residents who lost their lives to the C19 pandemic. It was truly a nice dedication.

As a currently Covid free center, we have been humbled by the tremendous outpouring of support we have received since the beginning of the pandemic. We continue to be grateful for the support from the community.

Our entire staff began collecting food items at the beginning of the month, to be donated to the Chittenden Food Shelf. The pandemic has affected all of us in different ways, and we here at Burlington Health and Rehab want to give back to the community that continues to hold us up.

Our recreation department is bringing loads of fall fun to the center this month. In addition to fun and entertainment, our staff is focused on making sure that the residents are able to exercise their fundamental right to vote through absentee ballot. We remain grateful for the tremendous efforts of our staff everyday here at BHR.
