Today I took a step that means a lot to me personally and professionally — reaching out to OutCare Health to potentially explore partnership opportunities with By Your Side Care.

When I started thinking about what kind of care I wanted to provide, I knew I wanted it to go beyond just tasks and appointments. I wanted to help create an environment where people feel seen, respected, safe, and cared for exactly as they are. That matters deeply in healthcare, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals who may have had experiences where they felt overlooked or misunderstood.

At the same time, I believe affirming care and compassionate care should never be limited to one community alone. Everyone deserves dignity, kindness, and support during vulnerable moments in life. My hope is for By Your Side Care to become a space where professionalism, empathy, and inclusivity all exist together.

Reaching out to organizations like OutCare Health feels like an important step toward building connections, learning from others doing meaningful work, and hopefully creating stronger support networks for both patients and providers.

Small steps can open the door to bigger possibilities, and I’m excited to see where this journey leads. 💜
