If you didn't get on the pre-registration. The standby list is up and running. If you skied with us last time or have skied more than twice. We ask that you please wait until th 9-13-26 to get on the standby list. This way everyone gets a chance.

Good afternoon Ski-Dawgs Adaptive Water Skiing. Guess who it's me Jamie hope everyone had a blast with us this past weekend. I know I did seeing all the smiles.
So lets get to the point of this post. So Friday we open pre-registration. If you have skied with us more than 2 times this year i ask that you wait til the 13th of September to get on the standby list. I know some people don't like that we went to the pre-registration and standby list. But we have grown so much in the past few years that we had to do this. It's a big help for us to know who is registered. And that our volunteers know how to handle each skiers.

A while back we started doing a Volunteer Spotlight... since Ski-Dawgs has new volunteers, I think it's time we officially introduced them! First up.. Ruth Linder, often found wearing a rainbow tutu at the Creation Station !

Meet Ruth Linder, a Baton Rouge resident and a passionate runner and volunteer with Ainsley’s Angels in Baton Rouge and Team Pack-a-Lunch. Ruth is a proud mom of 2 amazing kids and a kindergarten teacher who loves rainbows and teaching people of all ages, and who finds joy in helping others feel included, encouraged, and supported.

When she’s not teaching, Ruth loves being creative with her family and friends—whether that means making art, hosting painting parties, coming up with fun activities, or finding new ways to bring people together. Her heart for children, creativity, and love for her community make volunteering especially meaningful to her.

Ruth believes that kindness, encouragement, and a willingness to lend a helping hand can make a big difference. She’s grateful for every opportunity to serve, connect with others, and spread a little more joy at Ski Dawgs Adaptive Water Skiing

What an incredible and rewarding experience!

2B Engineering and Landmark Surveying, INC. were honored to sponsor and support the Ski-Dawgs Adaptive Water Skiing. Their mission to provide an inclusive environment where participants can build confidence, break down barriers, and experience the excitement of adaptive water skiing is truly inspiring.

Seeing the determination, courage, and joy of the athletes, volunteers, families, and organizers made this event unforgettable. It was a privilege to be a small part of something that creates such a positive impact in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this event such a success. We met so many amazing people and learned about organizations that are making a difference in the lives of many. We are already looking forward to partnering again and helping make the 2027 Ski-Dawgs Adaptive Water Skiing Clinic even bigger and better!
