Hot days. Busy schedules. Summer plans evvvvverywhere. ☀️

You do NOT need a perfect week to make progress.

Start with the basics:
💧 Drink your water
🚶‍♀️ Move your body
🥗 Eat meals that actually keep you full (helloooo protein!)
😴 Get some sleep when you can

These little things may not feel exciting, but they are usually the things that keep you feeling your best.

So this week, skip the giant overhaul. Pick one or two things & actually do them. 👍🏻

The 4th of July was yesterday so let’s talk about the part that usually comes next…

“I ate too much.”
“I drank more than I planned.”
“I didn’t work out.”
“I ruined the whole weekend.”

NOPE! 👎🏻🙂‍↔️🚫

One meal, one day, one party, or one off-routine weekend does NOT undo your progress.

This week’s challenge is to catch the “I ruined it” talk & replace it with one question:
What’s my next best choice? 💁🏻‍♀️

❤️ Maybe you had a few drinks yesterday & chose water today.
🤍 Maybe you skipped your workout but went for a walk this morning.
💙 Maybe dinner was burgers, chips, & dessert, so breakfast today included protein & fruit.
🎆 Maybe you stayed up late celebrating & decided to let yourself sleep in instead of punishing yourself with a workout on 4 hours of sleep.

⬆️ That is what continuing looks like.
No guilt. No punishment. No waiting until Monday.

The 4th of July weekend is heeeeeeere! 🇺🇸☀️

And your friendly reminder from Coach Callie is this:
You do NOT have to earn your food this weekend.
You do NOT have to “start over Monday.”
You do NOT have to skip the foods you love just to prove you’re being “good.”

Have the burger.
Eat the pasta salad.
Enjoy the ice cream.
Drink your water.
Get some protein in.
Go for a walk.
Play with your kids.
Soak up the sunshine.
Live your dang life.

Health is not built by being ✨perfect✨ on holidays.

It’s built by learning how to enjoy real life without throwing everything out the window every time plans change.

This month is all about consistency.
Not perfect weeks. Not perfect meals. Not perfect schedules.

Because July is full of cookouts, vacations, camps, later nights, & plans that change 47 times before breakfast.

So instead of starting over every Monday, we’re practicing something better:
Show up when you can.
Adjust when you need to.
Keep going.

July is here!!! ☀️🇺🇸

Which means summer camps, vacation, cookouts, later nights, random schedules… andddd still finding ways to take care of yourself in the middle of it all 😅

My July hours are mostly the same as last month, but there are a few changes with Clark’s summer camps & our Sandbridge vacation 🌊

A few schedule notes:
🇺🇸 July 3rd: Closing at noon
🎆 July 4th: CLOSED- Happy 4th of July!
🏕️ Week of July 13th: Closed 8:15–9:00am for summer camp drop-off
🗓️ July 16th: Closed 8:15–10:30am
🌊 July 18th–25th: CLOSED for vacation
🏕️ Week of July 27th: Closed 8:15–9:00am for summer camp drop-off

The June board is officially full & I love what it shows. 💜

My favorite part? The “Look Who’s Crushing It” section.
Because those checkmarks tell the real story.

They represent women who:
✅ submitted their Summer Values-Based Goal Plan
✅ checked in weekly
✅ trained in the studio
✅ submitted workouts on the CFN app
✅ kept showing up in real life, not just when it was convenient

That’s what I love about this board.
It’s not about shaming anyone. It’s about showing the difference between wishing for change & actually doing it.

June’s focus was JOY, & I saw so many women prove that fitness doesn’t have to come from restriction or punishment.

It can come from showing up. Checking in. Getting stronger.
And trying again.

If your name has checkmarks by it, I hope you’re proud of yourself. And if you’re looking at this thinking, “I need to get back to it,” July is a really good place to begin.

That perfect throwback song comes on & suddenly I’m not packing lunches, reminding anyone to brush their teeth, or being a chauffeur to practices & play dates. 😂

I’m just lifting, dancing, & pretending my knees didn’t hear that beat drop. 🎶 🦵🏻

Moms deserve to feel strong, fun, & a little unhinged in the gym too. 🤪

This month at CFN, we’re slowing things down.

Try this on your next squat, hip thrust, RDL, row, or press:
⬇️ 3 seconds down
⏸️ 1 second pause
⬆️ 1 second up

Less rushing. More control. More muscle actually doing the work.

A lighter weight can feel a whole lot heavier when you stop flying through the reps. 😅

Please be patient with me… I’m from the 1900s. 😂

When my bestie gave me this tank, I knew I had to wear it for my birthday.

But honestly… turning 37 doesn’t make me feel old. It makes me feel grateful.

Grateful for a body that still lets me do hard things. Grateful for another year of laughter, family, friendships, & purpose. And grateful that every year brings a little more confidence, a little more wisdom, & a little more strength.

Here’s to making 37 my strongest year yet! 🥳 💪🏻

Strong is carrying groceries without a second thought.

Strong is showing up for your family.

Strong is getting back up after a hard season.

Strong is honoring your body while still working toward your goals.

This month, I’m encouraging my clients to think beyond the scale & focus on the strength they’re building every day.
