Through the support of our Community & Employment Supports Waiver, Ashlyn learned the skills she needed to obtain — and keep — her job at US Pizza. Today, she’s celebrating over 8 years as a devoted employee, and we couldn’t be more proud of her journey.

Employment supports are about more than finding a job — they’re about building confidence, creating opportunities, and helping individuals AND employers thrive in their community. Ashlyn’s story is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when dedication, support, and determination come together.

At Building Bridges, inclusion means supporting people in doing the things they love — in the places that matter most to them.

For Tim, that's being able to staying active, building strength at the gym, lifting weights, and using technology to stay connected while out in the community. With the support of his staff, Tim isn’t limited by barriers — he’s empowered to pursue his goals and live life on his own terms.

Through our CES Waiver, individuals are supported in ways that promote independence, confidence, and real community connection. Whether it’s navigating spaces, using assistive technology, or reaching new fitness milestones, our team walks beside each person — encouraging choice, growth, and opportunity every step of the way.

Because inclusion isn’t about what someone can’t do — it’s about creating the support that makes anything possible. 💙

At Building Bridges, we love celebrating moments when determination and support come together to create new opportunities. 💙

With support from her Waiver staff, Denise was able to become CPR certified, which then allowed her to start a job at a local daycare alongside the staff members who supported her through the process.

This is what the CES Waiver program is all about — helping people build skills, reach their goals, and become active members of their community.

We are so proud of Denise and grateful for the caring staff who help make stories like this possible every day. ✨
