On Friday, June 19, 2026, Concordia Lutheran Ministries held the awards ceremony for the organization’s highest employee honor, the Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award, in celebration of the award’s 34 finalists.

Finalists were nominated by community members, patients, residents and colleagues and represented all facets of Concordia, from our inpatient locations to our home and community-based service lines. I hope the devotional thought I shared today is a blessing to you. I know none of us ever have anxiety over anything, but perhaps you can share it with someone who does 😊.
The truth is we all do, and I am glad God loves us and wants to help us when we get that way. May we be like the psalmist who said “when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” (Psalm 61:2)
