Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Hydration
Position Type: PRN with On-Call Availability
About the Position
ML Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing primary care and wellness practice. This position is PRN with an on-call component, providing flexibility while supporting the clinic's scheduling needs, patient volume, and special events.
The ideal candidate is confident with IV therapy, laboratory specimen collection, and injections, while providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
-Administer IV hydration, vitamin, and specialty infusion therapies as ordered by the provider.
-Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory specimen collection.
-Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
-Monitor patients throughout infusion treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
-Complete patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
-Educate patients on treatments, medications, and wellness services.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
-Assist with inventory management of medications and clinical supplies.
-Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
-Support both wellness and primary care services as needed.
Qualifications:
-Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
-Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
-Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
-Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills required.
-Experience in infusion therapy, emergency, urgent care, outpatient, or wellness settings is preferred.
-Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
-Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
