Richard and Janet Thompson were the very first breeders to select BENTLEY SF for their mare Coco Jullyen HPF back in 2017. The result of this cross was the very beautiful bay stallion CRUISE CONTROL HPF. Coco Jullyen HPF is a daughter of Jullyen El Jamaal and out of the Fame VF daughter Aphrodite FA, who is out of a Padron daughter who is out of a Tornado daughter - does it get much finer? We think not. The blending of these great horses culminated into one very, very special horse. Cruise Control HPF, already very accomplished was 2021 Region 8 Champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse and went on to to win the 3 & 4 Year Old Western Pleasure Junior Horse class at Scottsdale this year. Of course, not to be outdone -- he gave a picture perfect presentation at this year's 2022 U.S. Nationals and placed third in the prestigious AWPA $100,000 Arabian Western Pleasure Futurity with trainer Josh Quintus. Bred by Josephine Fazio, Unparalleled is sired by VJ Royal Heir and out of Afairytale, a daughter of the Triften son Aficinado and out of the Afire Bey V daughter Afirey Crystal to Le Fire. The pair were Scottsdale Reserve Champions in the Country English Pleasure AAOTR division and won both the championships at Region 12 and Region 13 respectively. Of course all this goodness culminated in their subsequent win in Tulsa as 2022 U.S. Reserve National Champions in Arabian Country English Pleasure AAOTR 19-39. One of the most esteemed classes at the U.S. Nationals is the Western Pleasure Futurity -- it's one of those "can't miss" classes as the quality just gets better and better raising the bar to a new level each year -- and this year was definitely no exception.
