Physician will work independently
Critical Access Hospital setting
Adult Level IV Trauma environment

Clinical Responsibilities
Hematology and medical oncology consultations
Medical oncology management
Hematology services
Infusion and medical oncology/hematology
Bone marrow biopsies
Outpatient cancer care and follow-up
Remote inbox management

Requirements
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Alaska medical license required
Alaska license must be in hand at presentation
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, or PALS required
PALS preferred
Epic EMR
Recent hematology/medical oncology experience required
Case documentation demonstrating relevant hematology/medical oncology experience within the previous 24 months
Must be comfortable working independently

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage in Longview, Washington. The physician will provide both inpatient and outpatient urology services, including clinic visits, operating room procedures, and scheduled call coverage.

The position offers a diverse clinical environment caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Coverage will be provided at an acute care hospital and a nearby urology clinic located approximately one mile apart.

Schedule & Work Environment
Standard clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Combination of clinic and OR coverage
Typical schedule when taking call:
Approximately 3 clinic days
1 OR day
7 consecutive days of 24-hour call
Administrative day/off day incorporated for rest

When not taking call:
Approximately 4 clinic days
1 OR day
7 days of unrestricted call per month
Call is restricted/beeper coverage
Approximately 0–4 after-hours calls/texts per night
Expected return-call response within approximately 10 minutes
Must remain within approximately 30 minutes of the facility while on call
Average daily census: approximately 18 patients
No floating

The physician will provide standard urology services in both clinic and operating room settings, including:

Catheter placement
Stent placement
Cystoscopy
TURP
Ureteroscopy
Prostate biopsy
Circumcision
Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
Orchiopexy
TURBT
Hydrocelectomy
Spermatocelectomy
PVP
Litholapaxy
Diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones
Erectile dysfunction
Male incontinence
Surgical assistance

Da Vinci experience is a strong plus but not required.

Requirements
Board Certified in Urology
Washington medical license required
Minimum 2 years of experience
BLS and ACLS required
Certifications must be through AHA or American Red Cross, as applicable
Epic EMR experience required
Must have recent surgical experience
Documentation of approximately 100 representative surgical procedures from the previous 24 months is required
Comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient urology care
Must be able to provide clinic, OR, and call coverage

The CRNA will work as part of a collaborative anesthesia team with anesthesiologist support, providing care for adult patients across a diverse procedural mix. The practice does not currently perform cardiac cases or heart procedures.

Hospital-based anesthesia practice

Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage approximately 3 days per week
Perform scheduled OR procedures and block time cases
Provide 24-hour urology call coverage (0700–0700)
Serve as the only urology provider on call with APP backup support available
Manage inpatient consults, admissions, and rounding responsibilities
Perform office-based procedures including:
Cystoscopies
Fusion biopsies
Bladder biopsies
Urodynamic testing (UDS)
Other general urology procedures
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinical support staff
Qualifications

Board Certified in Urology (Required)
Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
Clean professional history preferred for expedited credentialing
Must be able to obtain hospital/surgery center privileges
Fellowship training preferred
Must have experience managing general urology patients

PALS

Working Hours
