This will forever crack me up 😂🤦🏼♀️ and believe it or not people actually do this… then call me later down the road to fix it.
…
Someone reaches out to me for health insurance and insists they need a face-to-face, in-person appointment.
I explain that I work from home and don’t do in-person appointments. I run a very busy insurance business, especially this time of year, and my appointments are scheduled phone calls.
They get mad because I won’t meet them in person and decide to go somewhere else.
Okay, totally fine. 😂
But then…
They sign up for health insurance
OVER THE PHONE with a random cubicle agent somewhere. In a different state than them.
……MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. 😂😂😂
You wouldn’t schedule a phone appointment with the local independent agent you originally reached out to because she wouldn’t meet you face-to-face…
So instead, you enrolled over the phone with someone you’ve never met, sitting in a call center somewhere.
And then comes the best part.
A few months later you have a claim question, billing issue, coverage question, or actually need help with your policy…
And SURPRISE! 🎉
You can’t get ahold of the person who sold it to you. 🤦🏼♀️
There is a reason I run my business the way I do.
I don’t need you sitting across a desk from me to take care of you. We schedule a phone call, you get my undivided attention, we handle your insurance, and most importantly…
I’m still your agent after the sale.
Choose your agent based on the service they provide -not whether they have a desk you can sit across from.
Especially if you’re just going to buy the insurance over the phone anyway. 😂🤷🏼♀️
And ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💯
No need to make more complicated than it needs to be.
