Calvert City Nursing and Rehab Calvert City Nursing & Rehab is a local, nonprofit 95 bed, dually licensed, skilled nursing facility. Calvert City Convalescent Center, Inc.

is a local 501 (c) 3 not for profit nursing facility providing both NF and SNF services. Incorporated in 1972, the Center is unique to the State of Kentucky being both tax exempt and self owned. A local Board of Directors who volunteer their time is the governing authority. Excess revenue generated returns to the Center's general operation account. Presently, the Center operates on a yearly budget

of over six million dollars. The economic impact to the community and surrounding area is tremendous. Jobs provided for approximately 125 employees add additional funds and cash flow for area businesses. It has been said many times that this organization is more than facts and figures on a financial statement. It is like a family, loving, caring and appreciating each other. It is a home, a house built by love. The belief that "In God's love, everyone is someone" truly challenges our caregivers to fulfill the mission statement and provide the very best care available to our residents.

Maria is truly dedicated to serving our residents and brings such a positive attitude to everything she does. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile do not go unnoticed.
Our residents and coworkers have nothing but wonderful things to say about Maria—and that says it all! ❤️ We are so grateful for the care and joy she brings to our facility each day.

🎉 Friday Bingo was a BIG hit! 🎉

Our residents brought the fun and energy!❤️ The room was filled with laughter and special moments shared among friends. We also sent everyone into the weekend with plenty of snacks to enjoy.

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: DAWN FRANKLIN 🌟
Meet Dawn! With 21 years of experience in the medical field, Dawn truly can do it all—from housekeeping to HR and payroll!
Dawn is our Admission Coordinator, but that’s certainly not where her helping ends. She also assists with our social media platforms, bringing plenty of fun and energy to both our residents and staff. 🎉
Dawn was out this week due to illness, and let’s just say… her absence was definitely felt! We’re so happy to have her back and appreciate all the ways she goes above and beyond for our facility.

🔄 Today, our residents took over! 😂

We switched things up and let our residents try their hand at a few different jobs around the facility. 📞🩺💇‍♀️

They answered phones, took vitals, did hair, and had a whole lot of fun along the way! 😂

We think they may have found their new calling! 💙

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: TAYLOR HENDRICK 🌟

Meet Taylor! 💙 With 6 years in the medical field, Taylor is one of those people who seems to have a hand in just about everything around here!

Taylor is our receptionist, but that’s certainly not where her helping ends. She also assists with the business office, admissions, and pretty much anything else we can throw her way! If there’s a need, chances are Taylor is already helping fill it. 🙌

A few fun facts about Taylor:

🐶 Puppy mom to one spoiled pup
🦌 Enjoys hunting
🙏 Her faith is very important to her

We put our staff and residents to the test with a little game of “Sing That Song”… and let’s just say, we’ve got some hidden talent around here! 😂

There was singing, there was guessing, and there may have been a few people who were a little too confident in their musical knowledge! 🎵🤣

👋 Get to Know Our Staff: Terrie Lawrence, RN

Meet Terrie Lawrence! 💙

Terrie has an impressive 31 years of nursing experience and has worn just about every hat you can wear around our facility. From nursing to different leadership roles, she’s done a little bit of everything. Now, she’s completing the puzzle and stepping into her newest role as part of our MDS team! 🧩

A few fun facts about Terrie:
📚 She loves to read
🎨 She enjoys crafts
🌳 Anything outdoors is right up her alley
🌮 Mexican food is always a good idea
👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 She has 3 sons and 6 grandchildren
❤️ She’s been married for 10 years

And one thing you’ll quickly learn about Terrie…

She may have the BEST facial expressions in the building. 😂 We’re pretty sure she can say an entire sentence without saying a word!
