This Juneteenth, we honor more than freedom remembered—we honor the freedom to heal.
Rest is not a luxury reserved for a few; it is a birthright. Mental wellness is an act of preservation, a declaration that our minds, hearts, and spirits deserve care, peace, and restoration.
As we celebrate the resilience, brilliance, and legacy of those who came before us, may we also create space for joy, reflection, boundaries, and healing. True liberation includes the freedom to prioritize our well-being without apology.
Today, we celebrate Black freedom, Black excellence, and Black mental health.
