And finally, our hearts go out to you locals of the Central Coast, without your interest and attendance, we would just be an empty class and still have no idea how open minded of an audience there was to cannabis enhanced yoga gatherings. Hopefully these gatherings helped paved the way for more of these type of events on the Central Coast.

We won’t say goodbye, because we’re still right here, nestled in the Pines by the Sea in the hopes we’ll all cross paths again soon. I (Miho) will also still continue to teach privately here in Cambria. And if I were being really honest, I’m hopeful we can come back in a new form in a couple years. Perhaps even offer other psychedelics, in smaller clinical trip settings. But who knows? For now, we’ll just trust in the unknown.

Reach out if you have any questions or concerns, sending you all our most sincere blessings.

With peace and loving kindness,
Miho + Mike

Hello dear friends of the Central Coast and beyond,

I hope this message finds you well even in the midst of what hopefully is the beginning of the end of this pandemic.

To say the least, we’ve been absent yet again as our other work has devoured most of our time and attention.

It’s definitely been challenging navigating through the constant changes, but as we write this, our hearts are still full with an immense amount of gratitude.

Today, we mark the end of Vanaspati Yoga. It was something we’ve been reflecting on for awhile now, but since we are a long ways away from putting on the gatherings we all know and love, it just doesn’t seem to make sense to hold on to anything that is no longer in the foreseeable future.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank our wonderful caring and talented teachers, Mailee Lewis (), Pam Pahati () and Alexis Prins. Thank you to all the incredible musicians, Vince and Daniel Cimo (), Dustin Carpenter (Zodiac Gallery) and Jaryd Bloc () who all helped create such amazing soundscapes at our gatherings. We have so much appreciation and love for Dee Dussault () and Gabriel Remliel () for traveling to the Central Coast and for guest teaching on multiple occasions.

And most of all, thank you to the loving and open minded support from our local yoga studios, none of this would have been possible without , , , and , you all have no idea how much you mean to us!

Watch the light turn to dark as we enter the longest night of the year.

Welcome the darkness, the quietude, and this moment of deep reflection.

Write an intention, something that brings meaning and challenges you to grow.

And if you are willing, slow down tonight, and see what it’s like to be with these massive planetary shifts🪐🌓

Winter is here, it’s our annual fresh start, what will you bring anew into these growing days of light?✨
Wishing you all many Winter Solstice Blessings🌅❄️💫

For a moment, I give up.
I give up all doing.
I give up the need to make any decisions or take any actions.
I give up thinking, analyzing, anticipating and worrying about the next steps and the need to constantly control.
I give up the desire to look at the screen, or collect new information.
I give up this identity, and fall into the felt sense of the heavy sensations here within the layers of skin, fascia, fat and muscle, connective tissue and bone.
I loosen my jaw, and start to observe and attune to the nature of my breath.
And for just a moment, I lay here in this Yin posture and I finally let go of the tight grip I’ve been holding onto for the last 2 months.

I understand this doesn’t make me weak but that it offers a moment to feel completely rejuvenated and free.
It’s been challenging times for everyone. Personally, I’ve been really grateful for helpful tools like the discipline of my healthy routine of meditation and workouts to give me the endurance and strength, as well as the emotional awareness to handle the waves of change.

Wishing you all more moments of revitalizing rest and a reinstatement to your healthy routine.

It’s time to think about new intentions...

Winter Solstice is coming❄️✨🌅
The full expression of this healing yin posture is shown in the next image. Straighten the legs if you want to turn it into a more restorative posture.

As the sun sets get out of routine, and move into the motions of ritual. Today we honor the dead and hold a true reverence to those who’ve recently passed, as well as to the manifold lives who have walked, crawled, slithered, swam, or flew over this same earth before us.

As the walls of realms thin, we ask for their guidance and perseverance for the struggles that will inevitably come before us.

We do so with a sense of both relaxed interest and attention and stay reminded by the glow of this Full Blue Moon, to be present with this auspicious moment.

Slow down, relax, there’s no need for aversion, just acceptance of this living experience with an intimate celebration. Give thanks to all our ancestors and extinct species who have sacrificed and suffered for us to have this life today.

With joy, kindness and respect, sending you all many blessings on this All Hallows’ Eve and Samhain night

This 10 minute guided meditation is meant for you to pause whenever and wherever you are so you can reduce any anxiety, and reinstate a sense of calmness to carry you through your day. This video includes a 5 minute warm up so you can transition with ease. You can use this as a tool to make the most out of your break times, especially during the work day.

Without any pauses, you know through your own experiences, stress can take over easily. So I really encourage you to stop what you are doing, and take a true pause with this meditation practice.

May it offer even the slightest bit of relief💗✨🍁
