Dr. Byrnes brings over 25 years of experience across academia, drug discovery, and clinical practice. His work reflects a deep commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and neuroscientifcally informed care. His approach is defined by thoughtfulness, scientific integrity, and a genuine investment in helping people understand themselves.

At Fresh Pond Neuropsychology, Dr. Byrnes works with adult clients navigating complex behavioral health concerns, offering a neuroscientific and psychoeducational approach to care coordination and consultation. He has a particular talent for translating complex clinical and scientific information into practical, accessible guidance that empowers clients and supports informed decision-making.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Byrnes serves as a scientific consultant to drug discovery companies, has founded two pharmaceutical companies, and teaches psychology and neuroscience at the college level. Weโ€™re thrilled to have his breadth of expertise, intellectual curiosity, and collaborative spirit as part of our team.
