𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 🐔🌿

One of the simplest ways I support our flock’s health, without relying on harsh chemical dewormers that can be hard on the gut.

Using organic herbs, I made this 1 lb blend for $17.97, and it mixes right into a 50 lb bag of feed.

✨ Food really can be medicine, even for your chickens!

The blend (for 1 lb total):
• Oregano – 12.5% (2 oz)
• Chili flakes – 15% (2.4 oz)
• Cayenne – 23.5% (3.76 oz)
• Garlic – 21% (3.36 oz)
• Black pepper – 23% (3.68 oz)
• Flax seeds – 5% (0.8 oz)

➡️ Add 1 lb of this mix per 50 lb bag of feed

Why this over conventional dewormers?
While chemical dewormers have their place, they can be tough on the gut and disrupt the natural balance of the microbiome.

This blend works differently, it helps:
• Support a healthy gut environment

Hoof abscesses can be incredibly painful… and most approaches focus on forcing them open or managing them with constant soaking and wrapping.

But the body already knows how to heal, we just have to support it .✨

This is an example of a circulation + decompression taping using functional taping.

The goal here is to:
• Encourage circulation to the area
• Reduce pressure, inflammation and pain within the hoof
• Support the body’s natural drainage pathways
• Help move infection toward the lymphatic system

I’ve found this especially helpful when I want to support relief in a more gentle, non-invasive way. I went out the next morning to a cleared abscess and sound horse 🙌🏻

It’s not about replacing necessary care, but about giving the body the support it needs to do its job better. This has been such a powerful modality to add to my toolkit for supporting whole-body health 🤍
