This is why I love what I do. ❤️

I recently had the opportunity to bring Rock Your Energy: The Crystal Lab: Where Science Meets Stone to the students at Roots & Wings Academy.

We talked about crystals, their properties, how they can be used in everyday life, meditation, reiki, energy, and sound healing. They got to explore, ask questions, experiment with the sound bowl, and most importantly experience it all for themselves.

But I think my favorite part came afterward.

Reading things like “I love how you let us use crystals,” “thank you for teaching us about crystals and a sound bowl,” and “it really made the summer more memorable” absolutely made my day.

There is something pretty special about giving young people a safe space to be curious, explore something new, and discover tools they may carry with them long after the class is over.

Thank you, Roots & Wings Academy, for inviting Wholehearted Studio in and thank you to these amazing kids for reminding me why this work matters. ❤️

Still time !!! I would love your input

Okay, I need your help. 📚

I've been working on my next book 41 honest conversations about fear, identity, self-worth, happiness, relationships, the masks we wear, the patterns we repeat, and figuring out what still belongs to us.

The premise underneath it is pretty simple:
Know yourself today.
Choose consciously today.
Give yourself permission to choose differently tomorrow.

I don't believe we're supposed to arrive at some final version of ourselves. We grow. We change. We outgrow things. We change our minds. And we're allowed to.

Now I've reached one of the hardest parts:
What the hell do I call this thing? 😂

So rather than sitting here obsessing over it, I'm asking you guys—my people.
I put together a really quick poll with a few possible titles and subtitles. I want to know which one would actually make you stop and pick up the book.

Don't try to guess which one I like. I genuinely want to know which one speaks to you.

Today I got to sit on the other side of the table.

I had the opportunity to be a panelist for Marketing Strategies for the Freelance Writer in Wilmington, sharing some of what I've learned through my own journey as an author.

And I really loved it.

I don't believe we go through things, make mistakes, figure things out, fall on our faces a few times, and learn all these lessons just to keep that wisdom to ourselves.

If something I've learned can help someone else make a more informed decision, avoid a pitfall I walked straight into, or simply feel a little more confident taking their next step, I'm always happy to share it.

I'm still learning too. That's one of the things I love about being an author. Every book, every conversation, and every person I meet teaches me something new.

Today I met some amazing people, had some great conversations, and got to be a vessel for a little bit of what I've learned along the way.

Pretty damn grateful for opportunities like this.

And yes... I actually remembered to take pictures. 😂
