Three years ago we propagated two wild elderberry stems, and they've since outgrown us in height and given us a wonderful harvest! It's hard to believe all of this came from those two little twigs. Both the berry and flower of this plant have a long history of use in folk medicine, particularly around cold and flu season. Elderberry is packed with antioxidants and vitamin c, making it a perfect go-to herb for immune system support! Our personal favorite preparation is elderberry syrup, but it can also be made into jams, jellies, simple tinctures and more.

Got some tinctures that are almost ready to strain and bottle! We typically let ours process for 8-10 weeks.

We were blessed with an abundance of passion flower this year! Passion flower is a beautiful fruiting vine with a variety of medicinal properties. It is a nervine herb, meaning it works with the central nervous system, easing tension and anxiety. Passion flower also has mild sedative and pain relieving properties. The vines, stems, leaves and flowers can all be used in teas, tinctures, and salves!
