8:45 PM - April 23, 2026 - UPDATED: ROBBERY INVESTIGATION – LEBANON, KY

Officials inform gng On Demand of new details in an ongoing robbery investigation that began Thursday afternoon in Marion County.

gng On Demand have been informed that the initial incident occurred at approximately 2:13 p.m. on Thursday at the Subway located inside the old trade center in Lebanon.

Following the robbery, law enforcement launched a pursuit of the suspect that extended into neighboring Taylor County. During the investigation, officials say the suspect’s vehicle was recovered, along with a firearm believed to have been used in the incident. The suspect has also been identified.

Investigators further confirm the individual under investigation matches the description of the suspect involved in an earlier robbery this week at the East End Liquor Store in Lebanon, suggesting the incidents may be connected.

Officials continue to piece together details surrounding both cases. with the search for the individual continuing . No additional information has been released at this time, but authorities say more updates are expected as the investigation develops.

UPDATED - 8:00 PM - April 23, 2026 - According to Ronnie Dooley, Director of Taylor County Emergency Management, law enforcement agencies are currently assisting with an active search connected to an earlier robbery incident in Lebanon.

Dooley reports that the suspect was initially located on foot in the East Finley Ridge area before moving through several locations, including the North Central Avenue area near Gene Cash Road and later toward the Green River Cinema 6 area. Multiple agencies, including the Kentucky State Police and the Lebanon Police Department, are involved in the ongoing search efforts.

In an update, emergency officials also confirmed that crews responded to an injury accident between Walmart and Rally’s within the past hour. Authorities emphasized that the crash was unrelated to the suspect search and that the scene has since been cleared.

Dooley also issued a public information statement addressing widespread concerns in Campbellsville and Taylor County after CTC 9-1-1 began receiving multiple calls about a possible active shooter situation.

“There are NO active shooter incidents in this county,” Dooley stated. He added that in the event of any such emergency, residents in the affected area would be notified through the Code Red Emergency Alert System.

Officials reiterated that there is no active shooter situation in Taylor County and urged the public to rely on verified emergency alerts and official statements.
