Getting all things good from our Daffodils.π±π
1) Plant your bulbs in full sun ( 6 hours even after the leaf out in your region). Plant them at the correct depth for the bulb size .
2) Plant your bulbs in well- drained soil - no pooling, this will put your bulbs at risk for rot.
3)After they have flowered, wait until the leaves start to yellow - this shows you that the nitrogen is descending into the bulb ( their perfect storage unit) to prepare for next year's flowers. This is a good time to throw some organic fertilizer on your plants. You should have fertilized your spaces by now anyway - just make sure to include your spring bulbs. There is no need to fertilize your bulbs at the time of install.ππ±
