I'd like to address the tragedy that happened within our small community yesterday. Sam Nordquist was tortured and murdered by 5 individuals, and placed in a field deceased. The full details of the story are still under investigation, however it was stated that he met someone online and came to NY to be with that individual. Whether it was domestic violence, a hate crime and/or other crimes, an individual still lost his life due to being tortured and murdered.

I've seen negative comments on social media, and regardless of what your political/sexual/religious beliefs are, a HUMAN BEING still lost his life. Lets all (continue) to have compassion and hold space for not only him, but his family and friends and the entire LGBT community.
