Today is a little bit of Hello, Goodbye. We’re saying goodbye to Dr. Potter at work, but hopefully hello to many new adventures
With A Little Help from My Friends, we’re here to Twist and Shout our excitement as we celebrate Dr. Potter and his well-deserved retirement!
Whether you came from Abbey Road, Strawberry Fields, or Penny Lane, we hope it wasn’t too much of The Long and Winding Road to get here today!
After all these years of hard work, dedication, and friendship, we know that All You Need Is Love, and the support from your Manager and CA’s!
Dr. Potter could never simply Let It Be. He was always learning, always striving to stay up to date, and always making sure he knew the latest and greatest so he could take the very best care of his patients.
He might not be a Paperback Writer, but he certainly has read enough journals to qualify as one! For Dr. Potter, learning didn’t stop when he left the office. Vacations often included reading journals and articles on the beach. He’d come home from work and check his emails to see if there was any new information he needed to know. And many weekends were spent at seminars, always looking for ways to become an even better practitioner.
It has truly been a privilege to work with him. He is a true role model and mentor not only for me, but for many other practitioners in the area. His dedication to his patients and to his profession has made a lasting impression on all of us.
For years, Dr. Potter has been Fixing a Hole wherever he saw one, sometimes literally! He has helped so many people over the past 39.5 years. Dr. Potter, thank you for all your love, friendship, and support over the years. You’ve made a lasting difference in so many lives, and we are truly grateful for everything you’ve done.
As you head into retirement, we hope the next chapter is filled with Here Comes the Sun, plenty of relaxation, new adventures, and maybe even a Ticket To Ride on a Yellow Submarine to an Octopus’s Garden!
And, of course, we hope retirement brings you one of life’s greatest gifts:
No More Mondays! And while this may be The End of Dr. Potter's working days, I know we will still see him around the office
We’ll miss you, Dr. Potter, but we hope you have the time of your life on your very own Magical Mystery Tour.
