Cue the happy dance! 💃🏼Workshops are finally here!! 🎉 If you’ve been wanting to try something different for fun, for self-care, or to discover a little more about yourself, I’ve got you covered! These aren’t your typical art classes. You’ll learn how to use creativity on the daily to make more sense of your world and get a clearer vision of what you’d like to work towards…perfect for this time of year when life starts to feel a little crazy and wild, with schedules changing and life transitioning once again.🤪 Space is limited to 4 peeps per workshop. The baby birds left the nest yesterday. 🥹 It’s funny how such small, little creatures brought so much joy. It was fun to watch them grow - to see their little fuzzy heads bobble as they cried out for worms, to watch as mama and daddy bird perched on the nest to feed them, to see their eyes open and change, and to watch their feathers form.

It’s bittersweet. I’m sad to see them go, but isn’t that just like life? So many incredible, awe-inspiring moments and then one day, change. Transition. Sometimes it’s just too hard to process.

Creativity provides that place to explore those changes and work through those feelings, to go beyond what we try to describe with words - making it easier to navigate this wonderfully, messy life.

The eggs have hatched and we have the cutest baby birds!!! Right on the front porch to greet you! What a sweet sight to witness every day. 🩵

Can anyone identify the Mama Bird? My guess is a chipping sparrow - but then again, I’m no bird expert! 😝

What a lovely surprise when I opened my office door this week - a sweet bird created a nest in my wreath! On Monday there was one egg and today there are four! Eek!! So excited to see if they will hatch!! 🐣

When we’re looking through stained glass, everything shifts.

The light hits differently. The colors deepen. The ordinary starts to feel a little more intentional… a little more sacred.

It doesn’t change what’s on the other side… it changes how we see it.

Maybe that’s what this season is about. Not fixing everything. Not having all the answers. Just learning to look through a different lens. Softer. Slower. A little more full of grace.

Because even the broken pieces can catch light in the most beautiful way.

What if this season isn’t about holding it all together…but about becoming?

Becoming softer where you’ve been hard.
Becoming stronger where you’ve been stretched.
Becoming someone who lets go a little easier, breathes a little deeper, and trusts that growth doesn’t always look graceful while it’s happening.

Butterflies don’t rush the process. They don’t question the cocoon. They just emerge…different, transformed, a little more beautiful than before.

So maybe this season isn’t asking you to have all the answers.

Maybe it’s just asking you to become. 🦋

Rainy day today feels like the perfect excuse to reset the studio and our minds a little 🌧️🌿

There’s something about weather like this that naturally slows everything down…in a good way. Less rushing, less noise, more space to just breathe and reset what’s been feeling heavy or scattered.

At Leaves of the Tree, we’re using today to tidy up the space, clear out the mental clutter, and get grounded again. Balance isn’t always big or dramatic…it’s sometimes just pausing long enough to realign.

Let the rain do its thing outside while we do ours inside 🤍
