Canola oil is the most prominent seed oil used as engine lubricant, so what is it doing in your food?

Seed oils like canola oil are made with heat and pressure. They have been refined, bleached, deodorized, and lack any nutritional value whatsoever.

Through this manufacturing process, toxins develop, multiply, and change. And cooking and reheating with these toxic oils only creates more toxins.

But the good news about seed oils is that removing them from your diet is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health!

The Biggest Repotting Mistake Almost Everyone Makes 🪴

1️⃣ Bigger Pots Are NOT Always Better
Moving a small plant into a huge pot too early keeps the soil wet for too long… and that’s how root rot starts

2️⃣ Size Up Slowly 📏
The safest upgrade is usually just 1 inch bigger than the current root ball. Fast growers can handle up to 2 inches.

3️⃣ Some Plants LOVE Tight Pots 🌱
Snake plants, ZZ plants, hoyas, jade plants, and Christmas cactus often grow better when slightly rootbound.

4️⃣ Fast Growers Need More Space Faster 🚀
Spider plants, pothos, philodendrons, and tradescantia can fill a pot with roots in just one season.

5️⃣ Watch for Rootbound Signs 👀
Roots coming out of drainage holes, water running straight through, or the plant lifting itself upward are all signs it may need attention.

6️⃣ Don’t Repot Just Because It’s Spring ☀️
A lot of healthy plants get stressed simply because people assume every plant needs a bigger pot every year.

7️⃣ Try This Simple Water Test 💧
If water pours straight through the pot in seconds without soaking in, the soil may be exhausted or packed with roots.

Honestly, many houseplants die from “too much love” more than neglect 😂

The best pot is the one your plant actually earned 🌿
